Does RF work with Herald of Ashes?

Spell damage doesn't affect dots unless the skill specifically says otherwise.

You can increase the damage of RF only with elemental damage, fire damage, burning damage, area damage and maximum life / energy shield.

The wiki also lists Damage over Time and generic Damage though.
