3.2 Uber Hillock Fight & Oni Goroshi Drop!

Hey all

I thought I would share this moment with you all.

After 14 hours+ of grinding I got to meet the new Uber Hillock and got the Oni sword.

congrats I got mine days before the patch in 5 hours, I guess the drop nerf its not that extreme

Spent about 10 hours, so it wasn't too horrible. To be fair though: I used scion with movement speed passives, movement speed boots, goathide shield and no armor.

Gotta admit I kinda grew out of the Ragnarok Online "gotta have that thing" grinding mentality, so grinding it was hard. Especially with bot bros selling the thing for like 60ish chaos - something you can easily grind out in half the time or less running maps.

Congrats. Here, after 5 days (about 19 hours total), no luck yet lol.

Yeah, RNG is RNG. I played a couple hundred hours, never found a tabula rasa myself.

My friends found 4 in my presence. <.<

Fun, I spent 4 hours doing the same thing yesterday to get one.

Now I don't actually know what I want to do with it.

Use it to kill things to gain things for all your other item slots.

Well, I have never played with Flicker Strike or anything like that. Might work out.

Anything that uses attack skills can benefit from Oni, really. It might not be perfect for any of them, but eh.

There's a bunch of total conversion builds for example that try to get 100 % fire damage with it - they're supposed to be pretty fun. ^^

Oni Slayer Build with 100% fire conv. with Molten Strike is really fun, did it last season and doing it again. You melt everything with it =)

Welcome to the oni-goroshi club, i did the same thing has well, but it took me around a solid 20 hours total accross 4 characters, at the end all my char were levels 8 and finally saw Uber Hillock for the first time, my oni ended up whit 82% crit chance on. i'll never do this again lol
