You have 2.1 hours in game......
To the question when the game start:
I can speak for me, the game start before i start a new character in game. It starts in the POE Planner, on what gems i want to use, the stats that i have for the endgame, or if i want to build on a item etc.
Planing a Character is a BIG part of the game (some like to copy builds from the internet tho XD ), see how far i can get with it and learn from things that doesnt work or need improvement.
Games like poe need to start small and easy to not overwhelm a newbie. What do you expect? Dozen hard encounters in the second area?
Most builds may be one skill wonder but that doesn't mean its autowin. Without knowledge about game mechanics or trading later on OP can hold a button as long as he want but he will not win anything.
Dont take this the wrong way but this isnt the game for you.
The number of games you own versus thwe time put into them is very telling.
232 games
Dragonball Z is the only game youve played over 400 hours in. Thats a go get em action packed " kids " game with bright colors and flashy animation, ez to play and easier to learn.
Off the other 230ish games youve put less than 20 hours into another 7 or so and the last 220 anywehere from never playing them to playing 20 minutes and giving up or moving on.
That fine, your money your games but this is different. Theres actually some thinking and ALOT of trial and error.
In 100 hours you will get a basic understanding or 1/2 the early game mechanics. After 200 you might start trading and looking ofr a " decent " build.
What im saying as politely as possible is you only get from this game what you put into it : )
If you try to charge right through it as a new player you will rage and quit VERY soon.
You havent shown alot of patience or willingness to play complex games with STEEP learning curves. Again thats ok. Its just this isnt the typr of game your history shoes you would/will enjoy.
The game HAS started................ to teachhhhhhhhhh you the very basics you weill need to spend 100's if not 1000's of hours to refine and partially master.
Its not heart surgery, lets keep it in the proper context. Its a very difficult video game to " win ". And certain personality type do wehen and certain types dont.
The experianced players have 1000's of hours and have made 100's of videos truing to help other like you and me. Go to YT, weatch some videos of different builds and see if something looks fun for you to try.
Im not trying to anger you, im trying to express an honest opinion based om your past play styles. Im hoping to save you stress and aggrevation.
So try to keep it together and take this howe it weas intended, polite and respectful and mostly helpful. Theres a few pl on the forums ( not me ) that knowe basically everything in the game and are more than willing to help if you treat them with respect and honesty.
If you REALLY want to play, ask for begginers help with builds/gear. Theres no shamwe in being new, we all were at 1 point or another : )
Expection: Get killed on first enemy
Secondery Expection: Get killed again first enemy
That pretty much it?
Ping back after
1) Lab post cruel clear
2) Story mode post act 5 inclusive final kitava fight
and perhaps a few maps in workings toward the shaper
If you still think it's easy then keep on playing, act 2 is a bit harder, then you reach act 3 and act 4, both doable with any weapons (tho you might need to start using potions in act 4).
Then you will reach act 5, that's about when your build will be tested the first time.
Then you will try to reach the rest of the arcs.
Then you will start looking for help online with your build.
Then you will start mapping
Then you will realize that you have to redo your passive skills entirely and farm / trade for some new equipment.
Then you will realize a few more things.
As if games played / owned have anything to do with anything lol.
It shows patterns..........its virtually a book of likes and dislikes and personality traits and behaviour.
If you buy something and never touch it again you " may " have an impulse buying problem. It doesnt mean you do its just likely.
If you try 100 games and nevwer play more that 3 hours you " may" have a short attention span and arent real good at deep complex time cunsumeing task aka flighty.
If you dont weant to hear anything except a specific answer you " may " have trouble absorbing information and listening to others.
Look at his games, look at wehich 1's hes put the most time into versus thwey type he plays very little. If you cant see a pattern forming on the screen i cant help you.
