Evasion 1618
Max energy shield 68
My resistance scores make no sense at all. My equiptment alone puts my fire resist well above 40 but here's what my character sheet says.
Fire Resistance 33% (33%)
Cold Resistance 11^ (11%)
Lightning Resistance 22% (22%)
Chaos Resistance -5% (-5%)
But my helmet by itself gives me 31% lightning resist so whaaat?
Ok so once you get past act 5 you get hit by a -30% all resist penalty for the whole game and another -30% after you get past act 10
so just cap you resistance back to 75 again
Edit: Okay I just found armor that is somehow literally twice as good as my previous armor. That might help.
also the bosses do elemental damage, so the armor stat is in this fight quite useless.
also other stuff like defensive setups or forms of leech/ life on hit helps also alot
Ive found that rings are the quickest easiest way.
A little less DPS or firepower is a good trade of for survivability, if you cant survive all the DPS in the world wont matter if your to dead to use it : )

Start with rings. Play around with crafting and try to get some good percentages. Pretty much all gear, jewels etc can help. Check out Engineering Eternity on YouTube. It’s a good learning channel.
