- E.g ilvl 86 body armor can roll 101-110 % increased armor. So if you want that, stop rerolling once you hit 101+.
Never waste exalts on adding one more mod...
Only alt spam if you are doing multi-mods, usually when you are in-game rich and have access to high level crafting... However it requires you to have at least 2 exalts to get started(For the multi-mod), more if you plan to add mods that cost 1 exalt each.
- Alt spam till you get the optimal 1 or 2 mod, regal to make it "rare" to unlock 6 affixes, add multi-mod, fill in the rest of the mods with the crating table...
For the general gamers, you use essenses or fossils for crafting for okay results. Alchemy/scourge or chaos is too random... Might as well buy okay stuff from others. SSF people, well , farm those fossils. There are video guides on how to...
This league I just made a decent Axe with multimod (151% phys, added phys, attack speed, quality) by using alt+regal+multimod.
Last night I chaos spammed some ilvl 86 Elder boots. I've made 4 lvl 21 Cyclones so far, so have a ton of chaos to blow through from selling them.
I also don't like multi craft because anything you craft is going to be inferior to what you'd get rolled as a mod. Crafted resistances aren't so bad, crafted 14% resist all isn't much worse than 16% as a rolled mod, so that would be one I would accept as a craft.
I'd actually never recommend multi. It kills a suffix and gives you inferior stats. Maybe if you scoured it off after you added the mods and then used an exalt to add a suffix and got really, really lucky. I don't know why people recommend multi, why do they want me to kill a suffix and add inferior stats?
I don't like fossils, they give me multiples of the same type. It's hard to get 6 different kinds of mods when the same ones are guaranteed to be repeated by using fossils. Even if I use a prime resonator, I'm going to get some repeats. I wouldn't use a prime anyway, because there aren't 4 types of fossils that fit my needs.
Fossils also don't have a strength fossil, which is a mod I need. The result is that the chances of getting the mods I want, including strength, is unlikely.
There is a strength essence, but no life essence.
I always use a i100 level ring.
My ideal ring would be:
T1 Life
T1 ES
T1 Str
T1 Dex
T1 Resist all
crafted prefix
It can happen. someone has one for sale, but it's unpriced and they don't respond. It can't be achieved by alt spamming or fossils. Chaos is probably the only way.
I mean, just life :
Hale 1 +(3–9) to maximum Life 1000
Healthy 5 +(10–19) to maximum Life 1000
Sanguine 11 +(20–29) to maximum Life 1000
Stalwart 18 +(30–39) to maximum Life 1000
Stout 24 +(40–49) to maximum Life 1000
Robust 30 +(50–59) to maximum Life 1000
Rotund 36 +(60–69) to maximum Life 1000
Virile 44 +(70–79) to maximum Life 1000
I count 34 possible mods for rings (non-shaper/elder, normal ring), with most of them having 10+ tiers. Getting all T1's, and T1's you need... it's nigh impossible.
I specified I'm using an i100 ring.
Yes, and yet someone does have one. They have all 5 mods I want, all T1.
I have a ring I crafted with:
T1 ES
T1 Life
T1 Resist all
T6 dex (only 26) I used an exalt to get it.
Crafted Str
Would be nicer if I got T1 dex and swapped the mod resist all for crafted str. The way I reassure myself is to think of the str and dex as a single T1 stat.
I have many other rings that have just 3 T1 mods, since I've been doing the alt+regal. They all have T1 life plus 2 of the other 4 mods I want.
Only getting 3 mods is why I'm looking at chaos spam, but there is no control over what you get. It's a pity that fossils don't have a +strength type.
If I'm wrong about fossils not having a strength, let me know, I'll name my first born after you.
