How much is an astral plate?(elder item ilvl 86)

Trade macro is probably the worst thing to suggest to a new player that doesn't know how to price their items. Unless they are going to ctrl+ald+d then you are just going to refer them to seeing a lot of price fixed items in most cases. Just like you mentioned earlier, Just check poe.trade and official trade site and check specific parameters such as base type and ilvl. Elder astral plates are going for a lot of ex atm and there's prob a lot of people posting them for a tiny bit of chaos to influence others to list them at that. For example, last league when shaped eclipse staves were about 1ex for the base at ilvl 81+ and you used the macro you would see the entire listing for like 1c. Always check the trade site for rare bases as they can be easily influenced. Even the same for uniques in most cases. Those are a bit easier to check though as you can just check poeninja for the average sale price vs a rare.
