Best spectres?

Struggling to find recent information on this as most seems to talk about solar guards but ive also read more recent posts about spell echo and nerfs, im a fairly new player and id like some suggestions of your favourites and why and where i can find them to try myself.

Ive used frost sentinels which seem to fire very fast but with limited spread
Lunar abominations*? the ones with the tentacles that fire a huge spread but seem to take a while to start firing and by then my zombies have usually engaged.
Ive read that the fire goat men are quite good from prisoners gate or the winged demons from the rooftop near the end of the quests.

solar guards are pretty legit

personally, I am a huge fan of the caged skeleton dudes who murder ♥♥♥♥ with cyclone, especially if you're running a dmg aura & generosity support :o)

Im using EE and hitting with lightning so that counts out slave drivers, flame/frost sentinels looks quite good as do goatman fire eaters.

I prefer solar guards. With frenzy gem they can snipe and have good spread. They also have good AoE/single target damage. A very solid all around spectre.

Im using Goatman Fire-Raiser while i weaken the fire resistance with ball lighting and EE. Damage is pretty nice, my other minions also use fire or cold support gems and items.
