How to get more skill points?

Such a massive tree - I'm doing all the optional quests in addition to the main quest line, yet I've got only a small part of the massive tree covered. seeing how complex the mechanics are in this game - I cant help but wonder there are many things I'm NOT doing that can get me more skill points. (I'm only doing the main campaign story if it helps - and the labrynth of course). Anything else I can do to get more skill points?

you know the vast majority is not going to be filled in right? you will end up with around 115 points depending on how far you level and what quests you do and whatnot.

books of skill are what give you points. the bandit quest gives 2 skill points if you kill them all too but it isnt listed there

im aware of the quest based skills. was wondering if there are other ways (the repeatable missions by assasin etc perhaps?) to gain skill points?

some unique items allow you to save points since they have notables on them and if i recall scions can have a few more points with their acendency.

How much of the tree are you expecting to fill out? The majority of it? Unlike Diablo 2, every character gets the same tree, but each class starts out in a different part. This way you have access to any keystone if you can get there.

As someone said, certain quests give skill points.
