That really depends on the build you are going for. summoner, elementalist, or just a jack of all trades. so if you could give us more detail in what you want we can help you.

There are a lot of different potential builds. Which nodes you choose depends (to some extent) on which active (and support) gems you intend to make use of.

Here's a list of Witch Builds from the official PoE forums: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1774022

It's a big list, so expect to spend some time reading. I don't play Witches much, so I can't really winnow it down for you. Generally, Witches are built as either Elemental damage dealers, or Summoners.

I'd suggest looking for a build that claims to be "budget" or "beginner friendly" to start. Here's a Fireball build for example: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1731840

Here's a link to what that build should look like at around 40ish: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAABAMCAAN1BAcfAiTYl_QqjTbFNthqQzpYPV_vS0kbTLNSU1XGWHdfBMBUTIsI9G0Zg9uFbZErl5Wdrr2CpwhXK6yY_rMTNd9t6QLQH9QH1YHYJN-KF6Tcjbzq7FXv6_FskPpWSOvkXyo=

Look through the list, and don't get discouraged by all the reading. Look up a few builds that focus on the kind of play you like to do. See what passive nodes they have in common. That'll help you decide.

Your wayyyyyy to spread out over a whole bunch of things :) Best thing you could honestly do is go to forums and look up a build that you like the sounds of and follow that.

yeah maybe, i wanted to do a respec without having to reroll all together because if i restart the character i may not even bother since that's a lot of work i didn't wanna spend, i'd rather respec once i hit whatever point i can farm the items to respec.

That would be inefficient, you can't farm regret orbs and they're not that cheap that you just can buy them as you want (you'll have things way better and more useful to farm and buy). Plus if your build is not good enough for high level farming... well you won't generate enough currency to get them compared to the time you would need to reroll.

It's just way faster to reroll a char, because really, with the proper leveling method, getting high level (75+) takes less than 15h for an everage player (even less if it's a reroll with some leveling gear).

your probably right, i'm looking at builds to try something different but for some of them i gotta get the gems on my current witch and stash them before i make a new one to start on.

Once you've completed a quest that gives a skill gem as a reward then all those gems (and a few others as well) will be on the town vendor.

The gems are on tab #2. Nessa in Lioneye's Watch, Yeena in the Forest Encampment, and Clarissa in the Sarn Encampment. Since they're vendors, the prices are fixed and are pretty reasonable. You can't get EVERY gem there, but you can get most of the basic ones.

And, rather than typing out a list, just give us a link to your passive tree build: https://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAABAMAAA==

You can grab a link to how you built the tree in the lower left hand corner.

I bought up most of the gems from all three vendors so i have some for ice, lighting since i have most if not all the fire gems atm and got some for a melee class whenever i get around to it as well.
