flame dash teleport
I'm trying out flame dash to help me get past the saw blades in the lord's labyrinth. Is there any way to increase the range of the teleport? Does leveling it up increase the range?

Is there anything better, with a longer range?

flame dash is set range but is fast and ignores terrian. Lightning warp with less duration and faster casting is best (fast speed/ full screen/ no cooldown/ ignores terrain) . The movement skill you pick is often limited to the one your build allows, not every character can use lighting warp due to int or gem restrictions on gear.

*note lighting warp is slow as ♥♥♥♥ without support gems and level

On my Cyclone Duelist Champion, I am using Leap Slam (incl. Faster Attacks), as it also allows you to traverse gaps and cliffs, enabling alot of shortcutting - not sure actually about Flame Dash in that regard, as I like Leap Slam so much, I even started using it on other chars like the Witch and Hunter I recently started. ^^

That said, the range on LS is not as far as I sometimes would like it to be, but I think it's longer than that of FD.

Do these traps increased dmg on cruel and merciless?
Otherwise, why not run past them? Energyshield regens too.

I'm pretty sure they do.

Mhm, Im mostly worried that my minions die as you cant directly control them. But yeah, some trap placement is pretty bonkers where you basicly have to run perfectly to not get hit.

They should be able to outheal the damage they take if you have some minion regen nodes on the tree or on gear. They take reduced damage from the traps.

Didnt know they take reduced damage. Well Im mostly concerned because of the spectres. Getting new ones is always time consuming and sometimes you get bad ones, even if they still are a body in front of you.
On normal the energy shield basicly kept them full hp. as they dont take damage constantly.

You are explicitly targeting the exact corpse though, via the target corpse key (default key probably 'a', check options->ui), and not just blindly trying to raise one, are you?

Sawblade traps always kill you in exactly 1 second. It doesn't matter what difficulty or how much health you have.

I'm middle-aged and don't have the reflexes of an 8 year old. Point and click for movement doesn't lend itself to twitch gameplay either. I've been dying a lot to the sawblades.

I like leap slam. I got myself a brightbeak in my second weapon set just for that. I'm about to try the labyrinth again and see if I can just jump over all of them.

Funny though - while sawblades are pure death to my character, my minions can stand around in them all day. Apparently they don't do anything to minions. It's funny to watch it just grind away at a zombie and it's blood is flying everywhere, and it doesn't care.

I have run through several sawblades and never died. If I run low on hp I just pot. Well, I also run a chaos golem for physical reduction and if I clear the cruel labby I will probably take the physical reduction for my zombies.

I choose with A. but I havent looked into what I will use end game for what effect. Will look that up on the wiki once I need it. So far everything dies to fast to make the effort.
I like big minions so far because they block more in a space sense.

One full second of contact with a sawblade does 100% life damage. The only way to outheal it with a potion is if your potion heals you for 100% of your life each second.

I kinda doubt that, but I dont want to test that. But if you are on cruel or merciless it might be true. On normal they dont do that much dmg, in fact all the traps are relatively weak. But I was also overleveled as always.
