No waypoints in Temple of Decay?

Anyone feels this is a miss? after the Vaal city going 2 levels deep into the dungoen - not a single waypoint. I lost the net connection just before i entered the lair and had to do the whole fcking thing all over again!

there is a reason for no waypoints - so that ppl cannot farm given content too easily, it can be related to drops reserved for this location, or boss location, or important prophecy, whatever - but the reason should be there.
I only went through story line twice so far, so don't remember exactly if temple of decay is the boss location, but u have prophecy related to it, unbreathing queen IV, and that's proabably enough reason alone not to put portal there.

Even if you disconnect, the instance should still be around for at least 6 mins so you can continue your progress. The cleared area is still clear of monsters...

It seems large but if you head in a straight line from one stairs to another, you'll probably reach the boss for the act in under 3 mins...

thanks it was reset though - thats why i said had to start all over again. The Toxic Sewers Dead Cesspool etc in Sarn Encampent in Act 8 - same problem. I'm ok with the difficult mobs - but the lack of waypoints is a bit getting.

I can understand your situation with the tempel of decay but toxic sewers? After leaving sarn (a8) you got to the toxic conduits, and after slaying doedre there you enable the waypoint before choosing left or right way. also toxic conduits is afaik smaller than the 3 (or 4?) different stages of the tempel of decay 1 + 2.

but i think you lack either environmental knowledge (where is the fastest way), damage and speed or you DC too often or a combination of multiple ones.

or he has low damage / speed to reach fast enough back. dont forget he just stated tempel of decay not if its 1 or 2.

I have a 1GBPS connection - and like all connections - rare as it may - it can disconnect at times.
