That whole "allocating space" thing? Thats steam doing its config and stuff.
Because it's LITERALLY deleting the game file, you know, the big 9+gb one? It shouldn't do that.
That wouldn't have helped my issue.
I still have the game on the laptop that I orignally downloaded it from. And I only did this because the laptop can download oh....10x faster than my pc right now? So, the 6gb update, which was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, was done faster by installing it on the laptop and then transfering.
Up until Steam literally deletes everything I put on it now.
So, instead of Steam realizing I have the full thing installed and simply UPDATING, it just deletes it? That's superb stuff.
It's what I am trying right now. It's almost done. We'll see if t works or if Steam still rejects it.
