Sure, but dunno if you know Spanish.
There are "minor" mistakes, like translating "cold resistance" like "resistencia al hielo", which in Spanish means "Ice resistance".
There are sentences with no meaning, like "XXX ha sido muerto" when you died, which is a wrong constructed sentence.
There are almost a big mistake in every skill, passive, item you look at.

"30% del daño se remueve del maná", which doesn´t make any sense. "remueve" in Spanish is not "remove", it is like mixing or something like to stir or to shuffle.

What I mean is that "remueve" means to stir.
If you want to say "remove" you better use another real word.

In certain cases there simply is no better wording in german.

"Entgehen" can't be called "Ausweichen" because thats an other game mechanic.

The first thing I thought about seeing the translation was "google translate" but then someone told me that those who translated the game were paid. I thought WTF?! I also don't think it's the worst translation in a video game, but you can see that they translated word by word and not complete sentences or the concept itself of the sentence or text. If they did a test before launching the update, they didn't bother to mark the errors and if they did I don't want to imagine how it was before xD To do a correct translation should be done by someone who speaks the native language and speaks it correctly (I am assuming it wasn't so) Anyway I think it must have been tremendous work to translate all this: P
I'm also considering going back to English.
Important texts are well translated in general. The places on the map aren't so much and that gives me confusion. The descriptions of the objects aren't perfectly translated but it's understood in general concept.
I think that for those who don't handle English at all, it will help them to understand many things that are important.

Creo que estás siendo muy detallista, en rasgos generales es aceptable la traducción. Podría estar mejor, no lo niego, pero bueno, se puede corregir, es el primer día ;)

Frío y hielo no son sinónimos, no tiene nada que ver con papas-patatas. "Tengo frío" no es lo mismo que "tengo hielo". Son cosas muy diferentes.

Son sólo ejemplos que indican la calidad del traductor, nada más. Y ya no te digo cómo han traducido las gemas de support y la redacción en las skills y todo lo demás.

Está hechizero con Z, una falta ortográfica del calibre de niño de 12 años, y montones de cosas más. Frases sin sentido, verbos mal puestos, faltas de concordancia sujeto-predicado... Y lo mismo sucede en francés, alemán, etc. Y es que lo dice todo el mundo, no es cosa mía.

A lo que voy es que si la traducción la hubiésemos hecho tú y yo, o un grupo de fans, pase. Pero es que la ha hecho gente cobrando, tío. Eso es lamentable, absolutamente lamentable, de auténtica vergüenza ajena. No digo que sea injugable, jeje, sólo eso, que es paupérrima la traducción. Profesionalidad cero.

Es lo que pretendo decir.

No presté demasiada atención a los errores de ortografía pero ahora voy a estar más atenta a eso que al juego :P
Ojalá presten atención a estas cosas y lo arreglen, se ha esperado tanto la traducción que sería una lástima que no hagan las correcciones adecuadas. Estoy entre dejarlo en español o volver al inglés :v

Translating is a very hard job, I mean if you're going to do something good that is. My sister and her hubby are doing it full time and are fully accredited to do so (and my sis was always better then me with language).

I've dabbled a little with english to french translation since my english is decent and I know french from birth... let me tell you it's not that easy. There are a lot of times where you know the meaning, but there is no elegant equivalent except to rewrite it a little to addapt it fully to the new language while still keeping the essence of the original work.

And that's the problem with a translation, it's not mechanic. It's adaptation.

I dare anyone who know any two language to undertake to translate a 1000 word text (let's make it short but interesting) from english to their language of choice. Let the native speaker judge the result and see how easy it is to do a good job. Odds are that either it'll feel "mechanic" and the sentence structure will be alien-looking, or some of the sense of the original work might get lost in translation.

(disclaimer : I did not participate in the translation of this game, nor would I wish to because I'm quite content with the english version... as such I'm not saying this is a good or bad job, just that it's not an easy one)

I agree on that, and nobody is saying its easy.
If there were little mistakes, nothing happens.

Problems is the result is aweful. Read the examples. No idea german, but read what I talked about Spanish. This is not because this is a hard job, this is because the guys translating the game were a mess and not capable to do it, thats all.

Imagine someone translate something from any language to English, and you say things from a payed translator like "I has time to do it", "We have wants to go to the sinema", "This year we buying two dog", "this is a wonderfull semetery" or things like that.

That's unexcusable and complete garbage, it doesn't matter if translating is difficult or not in this case. This have been made by guys that does not know English properly, and the other languages neither.

That's what we were talking about. Or at least what I was. I got what you talk about, and I know translating is difficult, finding the proper word, the sentence in a new language etc. But what is happening here is mostly a different issue.
