Number of sockets of a helmet

I'm currencly trying to 4-socket a helmet. Now I have it on 3 sockets, but everytime I try to use a jeweller's orb on it, it says the item already has the maximum number of sockets.

Max is 4 but it has a Ilvl requirement also not sure on the level without looking it up.

Item level is 23. I'm 27.

Needs to be Item Level 25 minimum for four sockets

Also, you can use vorci's table to put 4 sockets on it regardless of item level if absolutely necessary.

I always check at Vorici's first. His table will tell you when the item level is too low.

It's a nice +1 minion gems helmet, which would give some boost to my char in the event.

Eh? Did they change that so the table can't put more sockets on an item than the level limit now? If so, that suuuucks.

I haven't been online in a while, but I doubt it. No reason to make such a change at this point.

I got that message on a bow with 3 sockets when i tried to set it to 4, so i assume they really did.
