can minion bulds survive endgame content...ever?

i have a pretty good zombie,skele,spectre build that i have fun with and clears most map content but i cant clear endgame bosses or even t13+ maps without serious problems. are minions simply for "fun" builds?

To be fair SRS builds do exist that can do endgame, baron zombies builds done right can do end game as well. Spectre's can too depending on the choices of the minion types and defensive options for recovery like necro aegis+ bone offering and use of spirit offering.

But seriously SRS has ALWAYS been able to do endgame. It was one of the first minion builds that could wipe Atziri and Uber Atziri with ease.

Even animated weapon builds can melt most endgame bosses if set up right.

Also golemancers still work, the properly done ones can farm endgame with ease as well.

So yeah, your post essentially was full of inaccurate information.

Agree about SRS, they are ok. Tho not seeing them as actual minions, but hey they do a good work anyway.

Still cannot believe about spectres viable endgame.. dunno, even video not really convinced me (somehow i think videos sometime shows 1 succesful guardian run from like 20 not), they felt too weak from my hi tier maps experience and yeah, annoying..

But may be its me, sure its me, so my spectres are not that good ;)

its possible, however i agree that summoner items are VERY underleveled. ive been using a bones of ullr for a very long time because i cant afford to lose the minions it gives me even tho it is a lv 16 or so item. the only high level item given to summoners is midnight bargain which is not cheap or easily dropped unlike my 5+ rigwalds charges lol

hwo cares about the lvl of items? be happy that they are cheap. i mean if you are going the zombie and spectre way bones of ullr are a good pair of boots. and if you really want those chase items... go for some really really good rares.
only because there are minion stats on those items doesnt mean those are the only ones you should/can use.

Lol, you just suck at the game I think kid. I beat Shaper and Corrupted guardians in the first 3 weeks with my Spectre build, people are just too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid to do things themselves honestly, and you happen to be one of those people.

I love the fact I have 4 builds this league all that can do Shaper, and you can't get Guardians done with what is considered one of the most used builds this league. Also ♥♥♥♥♥♥, you don't run zombies/other pets for damage you need to learn where your real damage is coming from, you most likely just have the skill nodes for pets. No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jewels to help you or items that boost % minion damage like Bone Helmet or Scourge, simple ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Learn to read and play, maybe then you will stop sucking.

i guess ill be a little more specific about my question. can a minion build syrvive endgame without a 5+ ex investment in gear or would u be betteroff with a 5 ex(more than one year without fliping=ripping off other players) investment of another build that wont die as soon as the caster is focused by the instakill boss?

currently in abyss (i havent really played for the last couple weeks) i have 6 raw ex, like 4 more in chaos, and i had like 5 more in fuses and jewelers before i tried 6 linking an inpulsa. i also bought a taste of hate for 3 ex awhile ago.

this is purely from mapping and selling drops. no farming uber lab, no flipping anything. this isnt even that much honestly. if you want to do boring stuff like farming uber lab you can make way more than that way faster.


as to the question of summoners, currently in hardcore abyss 29% of characters lvl 95-100 are necromancers. the next closest is guardian at 13%. this is insane. spectres are honestly kind of broken.

i need to work on hp though but other than dat im finding it works very well
