I don't know about you, but I'm not overly fond of the new aesthetics. It doesn't suck me into the world quite as much, and it makes Wraeclast seem like just some random island, not a place you're being banished to with ~0% chance of surviving.

the new UI looks sexy good, but the character creation screen is so out of place, completely remove the sense of exilement from the game, i rather have all characters on the ship, that was the main thing that give me goosebumps before start playing the game XD

Does it? It's the court where you're exiled, you can even hear the audio for it (at least on first creating a character, Dominus or so will say some lines in that regard). It was pretty awesome in beta, as you don't have existing characters there that might stop that from happening.

It may well be the court, but it is far removed from the feel of the game as a whole in my opinion.

Even the old character lines were removed.

"I fought, wept and bled for God and the Order. I would have died for my Templar brothers, every single one. And how do they reward my piety, my devotion? They exiled me - to the land of the damned - to Wraeclast."

^That was significant character development, the new line is some mumbo-jumbo about heresy and "losing faith when it's all you have left"

...I dunno, by his lines in-game, the Templar seems to believe quite strongly, but Dominus' awkwardly enigmatic voice...

...Although the new title screen music is really good, I'm already missing the old music also.
