Playing a "necromancer", should i take Aliras offer?
Since the change to the bandits, making the descision on them has been hard, but with a necromancer its harder. The 15% resists she offers is nice, the crit multiplier doesnt matter, and the mana regen does help a little due to me planning on getting the passive where some of the damage you take goes through your mana.

Would this be a good idea for a necromancer?

I went with mana so i could take out the skill gem that adds mana regen and place a curse or another buff like energy shield because i'll be taking CI later on and energy shield is all you have then . Also energy shield on zombies makes them really tanky if you have the recall +heal minons skill in they never die.

is people still playing the ol' "Necromancer" you must try to test the new variations "Golemancer" and "Clonemancer".

Always, always, always take the skillpoints, they are far superior to any of the other rewards.

no they arent, not always.

the crit multi is very, VERY sweet, and it comes with free resists AND some mana regen.

there's not a lot of nodes that give crit multi, and even fewer who give +15 to all resists.

You can get all of those later through gear(mainly gear) and the passive tree, and should be capped out on them without ever touching the quests bonuses.

why pay extra for gear?

and as i said, you CANNOT get crit multi + all resists in just 2 passive points.

im not saying alira is best and a no brainer, BUT, it is very useful for many builds that utilize crits.

never say never.

You're gonna have the gear sooner or later weather or not you buy it is your choice, I'm just saying the bonuses are nearly worthless in comparison to later gear, the extra skillpoints however push you further towards important things. But to each their own I suppose, I wouldn't take the other bonuses if I were paied to do so, lol
