Fishing Rod?

Found a fishing rod (white) with 4 sockets in the second run of the mud flats last night.

I see on POE trade people selling them for pretty high currency value, but the thing seems useless? Unless I'm missing something?

I read the wiki about it and I like that it's an uncommon item I guess, but I really don't know if I should hold on to it or what to do with it.

You need it to do quests for Krillson, Master Fisherman. It helps when map areas are alluring.

He is everywhere, just need to look.

I don't even know if I have to have the rod equipped to find Krillson or not. Maybe I at least have to have it in my inventory, Idk.

hv the rod in ur inventory but dont expect to see krillson anytime soon, if the wiki says very rare then they mean it lol
