Ads... Anyway, you set to predictive so chances for de-sync are higher. It was used when the game was first launch many many years ago...

Lockstep, continuously maintain sync, was developed for people who desyncs after people complained years ago. For people with good and stable internet... No bandwidth shaping, no throttling or bad peering...Ping < 100 ms.

My ping is 4ms, so not an issue. Heh.

Switching to predictive DOSE NOT prove your connection is fine, what it dose is mask the problem by changing stuttering to desync becuase the lag is still there.

Predictive, 2 versions of your game are running, your client and the server version, you are synced to the server version, any lag will put you out of sync with the server and will resuly in you rubberbanding to where the server says you are, at it's worst it will take you into rooms you have not been in in the client. (made worse by sloppy game play by the user)

Lockstep (was not deployed for people that had latency related desync but for those that played sloppily, like running though a door and round a corner at max speed where the difrence in position between your client and the server are effected even by minimal latency)
You are not going to get teleported anywhere in locksep you'll always be where you should be but latency and packet loss WILL make it stutter.

YOU should run WinMTR as per the guide here http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789

Run it while you play with the problem then post the results, that will show where the problem is then you can go from there.

Had massive stuttering since 3.0 on networkmode set to automatic, then few days someone here in the forum also mentioned to switch to predictive, but warned about desync and lag, and guess what, there is none since i switched to predictive modus, super fluid, no lag, no rubberbanding, no desync at all, but to make it clear, you have to configure your networking adapter aswell in the windows options, turn off all protocols except IP4 - IP6 (if needed) and turn off ALL powersettings or flowcontroll options! My ping is constant 33ms without any problem over hours and hours of playing in harbinger league with really alot going on. i am very happy atm with it. just my 2 cents. hf

You could have saved a massive amount of time for countless people and just said "switch networking mode to 'Predictive' in main menu options" instead of trying to get views, ad revenue, and build a YouTube channel.
