Decay Support gem question

There are passives in the passive skill tree that increase the duration and damage done by chaos effects inflicted by the player, do these increase the duration and/or damage of the decay support gem? Does it increase the damage/duration if this gem is used to support minions?

Same questions I have. I also wanted to know if it stacks multiple applications similar to poison.

I posted on the official forums under the feedback thread for Decay Support. Hopefully we get something explained sooner or later.
