Bleeding and minions?

So if I get a passive that says melee attacks have an 8% chance to cause bleeding would this apply to my minions I summon?

Not that I'm aware of.

Stuff that your minions can do are mostly linked through passives and skill gems.

So hard to make a bleed/poison/ignite build that wouldnt just be better focused on mass first hit damage.
