Slight bug/issue with The Bandit quest.
So i chose someone to help and killed the other two, but oak is bugged and i can't enter the chamber of sins due oak, i have logged out and started a new instance and each time i go to the wetlands oak is still there. I go over to him and there is no dialog just straight to killing him, and afterwards i still cant enter the chamber.

What makes you think it's because of oak?

It tells me to help or kill oak any time i enter the wetlands

I have same problem, but later I decided to read whats new... I found following: All characters that had completed the Deal with the Bandits quest in Act 2 Normal now have the Eramir reward of 2 passive skill points. All bandit rewards from Cruel and Merciless no longer exist. Players who want to change their bandit reward choice have a one-time-only option to change it by talking to Eramir and taking one of his books. These books are character-locked, so if you decide later that you don't want to change your choice, you can get rid of the book by typing /destroy. This does not give you another opportunity to choose a bandit reward, so choose carefully!

Still, even though i know where Eramir is I cant get book, and he has no selling option...

Eramir appears in different area for different acts, did you try all versions of him? For example he is located at broken bridge for act 6.

For me i couldn't get past the wetlands to progress through the story, literally couldn't do anything and i pretty much tried everything. Nothing was working, i literally could not enter the Chamber of Sins to progress. So i ended up creating a new Character, getting upset that i had to start again and left the game since. Will probably pick it back up in a day or so.

You should contact GGG support instead. Forums can't really help you, but they usually can.

doesnt matter now, lost all my gear and ♥♥♥♥, i got fed up and deleted the character
