Your account banned!!???

I just played the game and today i got banned by an administrator, i dont know why, i never cheated or something and i never say any offensive thing in chat. I didnt received any email for the ban reason.

In all seriousness what type of ban are we talking here? Banned from official forums? From the game? Perm ban, temp ban?

Can you still access official forums? Did you pertake in real money trading? (be honest) Did you scam someone in a trade deal? Did you say offensive things in chat?

Most bans are temporary so either it was an honest mistake IF you are permabanned or you pertook in RMT. Unheard off to be permabanned for lesser offenses.

As pointed out, usually you only get banned from this game for really breaking the rules.
Even being offensive in chat usually gets you a chat ban, not a ban from the game.

I mean Global 1 is offensive by definition. :)

We need more information to help you, and honestly, the best bit of help is to contact support, or post on the official forum for help.

the bans come in difrent forms which usualy have difrent ban messages

If it tells you that you were banned and to contact support, then there is a good chance that you were being a scumbag in game and GGG want to talk to you before letting you back into the game

If it tells you straight up that you were banned and nothing else then it's more serious as they are fairly sure you broke the ToS in a way that merits a perma ban....you can email them and they will reinvestigate but usualy at that stage they are only reviewing what they already know and the ban sticks

Then there is the account getting locked becuase if an IP address change which asks you to enter a code

Being a ♥♥♥♥ in global will get you muted, having an offensive name may get you banned until the forcible change the offending name

Hello, thanks for the answers. I said i just played the game, i do nothing, my english is really bad so i never used the ingame chat, i just hitted lvl 68 and started farming maps and buy items from poe.trade and yesterday i just got banned with this loggin info "your account has been banned by an administrator" . I worte an email but didnt get answer yet. Sorry for my bad english again.

i had the same ban no reason just a ban from 1 day to the other. was lv 55 was farming maps and acts as a normal player i dont use chat only use the poe trade. wrote an email and nothing so far. completely left in the dark it is honestly dissapointing

You should write a comment to [e-mail] and waiting for an anser. This may take some days, so be patient. They will reply to your email.

Yeah, contact the support via email [e-mail]

It might have happened that your account was wrongly flagged as botting by an automated system, especially if you were new to the game (as people usually use new accounts for botting, so the detection system is more sensible with new accounts).

The support can look into it and remove the ban.

I have yet to see any unfair ban by GGG. If anything the company is quite relaxed.
Also using a Macro will not necessarily get you a ban as this thread tries to imply.
99,9% a personality issue.. aka L2P and stop botting.

Not sure but wasn't that the year they had some issues with false positives on their system that had some new accounts getting banned? Don't remember many of the details but I do remembering there being an issue at one point.

There was an automated ban, once you're around lvl 40. They unban you after you send a ticket, of course.
