Killing Oak

Is killing Oak in normal mode worth it for 40 life? I can see for the added phys dmg later on if you are a melee build, buuuuut what if you're sayyyyy a witch?

Oak is worth it generally unless you are going for an Energy Shield build. Also, your bandit choice in Normal (Oak +40) doesn't affect your choice in Cruel (% phys). You can help a different bandit in Cruel.

Wouldn't the passive point for killing all 3 work better in the long run?

It depends all on how you plan on building and such. Like me in my current totem build I only need the two extra points instead of three. [ Obviously including doing all the side quests to get extra points ] In most cases though you're able to take one for hp or dmg etc etc because of the fact that a single point extra won't generally make as big a difference.

if you are planning on being a life build you almost always want the hp over the passive. remember that is 40 base hp which is then buffed by all the % max life on your tree.
