I dont think you even need to get that int for threshold jewels.

Yeah, me too, just to be sure.

Violent dead needs 40 in passives.

2.6.0
Unique Threshold Jewels that applied to specific skills have had their attribute requirements reduced to 40, from 50. They also no longer require those attributes to be allocated.
Oni May 2, 2017 @ 10:07pm
Interesting.
This means I don't need to put 40 Intelligence inside the radius to Violent Dead make effect?
Awesome! May 2, 2017 @ 10:20pm
yeah the exact wording now is: "With at least 40 Intelligence in Radius" when it used to say intelligence allocated
Thirsk May 2, 2017 @ 10:28pm
I believe there's still a couple that require the points to be allocated in radius, but almost all of them have been changed to just require the nodes be in radius.
Oni May 2, 2017 @ 10:37pm
Now I understand, althout the discussion was made more because almost half of the passive was outside the radius. :)

For what it's worth: According to path of building, it's only inside the large radius, not inside the medium range. https://imgur.com/a/wWEkO (blue instead of turquoise outline)

Dunno, would only really matter if there are medium radius conversion jewels or so.

Hmm, so this means that the place where I placed (picture of the discussion) the violent dead jewel does not fit for the purpose of giving the raised zombies bonus?

I'm still confused even with the image you posted, haha, because in that picture the +10 int passive is less than a half inside the medium radius.

I'm just adding to what the other said, not contradicting them. Yes, that socket supports intelligence threshold jewels. I've updated the album with another image. That shows 4 of the intelligence nodes marked by me, there is a hidden one or maybe more behind the tooltip.

Again: No need to allocate the int, it just needs to be in the radius.
Oni May 2, 2017 @ 11:18pm
Ohh, now I understand completely.

Thank you guys for the help, I hope this post helps more people in the future.

Cya. :)

Hello, sorry for awakening this tread again, but it seems that the passive needs to be allocated so the jewel will have effect.
I noticed that with the Efficient Training jewel. I don't know if it is the same for the Violent Dead jewel or others, but at least for the Efficient Training and (probably) Inertia, the passives in radius must be allocated.

Both of them aren't even trigger jewels. They just convert ("transform") nodes, they don't (virtually) allocate you the nodes. Neither do you get the bonus from nodes in the trigger jewels if you don't allocate them. The wording on them is quite clear.
Oni May 11, 2017 @ 12:07pm
Yeah. I just wanted to be sure which jewels need passives to be allocated and not just in radius.
