Well, you set your max hp to 1 and mana to 0 and you need to spend life to use skills/spells and not es (unless you use eldritch battery but really no point to take that with blood magic) so until GGG decides that blood magic should use es before using life you'll never be able to cast anything without using "cast when stunned", "cast when damage taken", "cast on melee kill" or "cast on critical strike" (both of which would require reckoning, riposte, vengeance or trickster shield charge to work).
Also, you'll be unable to reserve life/mana so no auras/heralds (unless you use The Perfect Form Zodiac Leather to get 100% mana reserve reduction for Artic Armour but it has no es so not worth it).
In short, you'll pretty much have to get hit first to damage anything and even then it'll be way more risk than reward and an almost 100% guarantee of dieing to anything in cruel/merciless difficulty as well as all bosses.

Technically you could pull it off if you have 100%+ reduced casting cost, which is quite attainable. But overall it's kinda pointless...

Just use a counter build with RF totem. RF has no cost so you won't kill yourself casting it, and the totem will insuse the skill works. Then counter skills and trigger setup (cwdt etc.) have no cost, so you can pretty much put that everywhere.

There, perfectly safe RF tank.

just make sure that if you do try it to have a caustic mana flask eqiuped...you'll need one
