How long is this game?

Just curious how many hours it takes to beat it playing at a medium pace.

What do you mean by beat the game ?

If you mean killing the story boss in normal, you can do it a less than 8 hours, provided you know a little about hack&slash rpg. Now if you mean kill the end bosses like the shaper, unless you're comitted you can even spend a year without seeing it.

Basically what Sajah said. The first four acts on Normal difficulty are not all that hard to plow through even if you are a complete casual as far as ARPGs are concerned.

But if you want to push for the actual end-game and beat the "final boss" of the game, then you have a very long journey ahead of yourself.

if you consider "beating the game" to be beating normal mode you can do it in 2 hours. if you consider beating the game actually killing all the bosses of the game it will take much longer. what is hard to understand about this?

I probably took 20 plus hours at a casual pace with clearing all areas amd exploring etc. That was also my third character, so i only hit cruel this week at almost 70 hours. But i dont use guides or builds, rather learn it all myself.

Define 'beating the game' and you'll get narrower answers.

Running to act 4 merc takes good players 7 hours, aim for 12-14 even 22 hours as a starting point if you want to get into racing

The game is far from over at this point, but it's a good milestone. The race to shaper is shrouded in darkness, I'd like to learn more about it as well.

Is there lot of contents to do after finishing the main story quests? Because there more then 20k players playing at day, what are they doing, is there dungeons/raid/pvp and all that stuff?

running end game maps, trials and labs, trading, perfecting builds and exploring build tactic. Then theres also people farming currency in the Legacy league etc.. plenty of stuff to do

Well, you can do it in like 2 hours(or less!) but if you are playing at a somewhat normal pace and not using shortcuts, doing all the quests etc, I'd say...20 hours for Normal? Not below 15 that's for sure, going below would mean using shortcuts-both in gameplay and in world navigation.
