Request build: 20c Budget, beginner friendly, fast clear speed, uber lab viable

Hello, as the title says i am looking for a build with those parameters.

I came back to the game after taking a long break, and i only have a flame totem witch from 2.2 (i think) that can do maps at a medium to slow speed and is not tanky at all.

I just started this yesterday, SSF, with no gear, and i've been having a blast (pun intended) so far. I just did the +1 level to fire gems on a decent sceptre, and i have had no problem so far with leveling.

For easy life there is 2 good options.
1) Go for Ancestral Warchief. This build will not require body armor and weapon and i am not joking. You will have 2 totems which deal approx 20k dmg each without leveled gems and top equip. Overall price is about 10 chaos (1 per item). Problems: you will not attack on your own, you will have to dodge enemy skills, you will have 4-7k life max due to lack of armor.

What you need:
1.1. level up all totem nodes in your tree, as well as physical dmg, attack speed and attack range. You can use search function in skill menu to search for 'totem' or 'physical' words.
1.2. You will have to play with basic skills of your choise until you reach lvl 36, its where you can buy Ancestral Warchief totem.
1.3. You will need physical dmg 10-15 on all your items (rings, amulet) and pretty much all phys dmg you can get.
1.4. This build can be improved to deal around 100-300k dmg with each totem later on and you can have 3 totems.

2) Go for Righteous Fire. This build is super easy and can be built with almost any hero. Its cost nothing, as well as that ^ Totem Build.

2.1. Take all hp regen nodes from tree.
2.2. Maximize your fire resistance to 88%-91%.
2.3. Pick all +HP nodes you can, ignore dmg nodes.
2.4. You burn everything, including Uber Lab, Atziri and any maps except 'no regen'.
2.5. Unfortunatly, this build is not gonna work until you reach 65 lvl.

There are many different variations of those builds but they share the same mechanics, just dont go for Energy Shield versions, cus they are 200 times more costly right now.

-- just none of the builds will do all 4 as I saw. Every build have issues. Especially if you go for uber izaro or hi clear speed. There are doin both of that, but no cheap at all.

Yeah, better go with like totems and make moneys a lot.
I done this with flameblast totems. Started as this, ended same char with 6 golems and still 2 totems. Even run this with biscos and +50 or so IIQ on gear.

I'm getting around 200k dps per totem with only roughly 35c spent on my Facebreaker Ancestral Warchief build, so saying it'll only have 20k dps seems like a horrific understatement.

I mean no offence, but i didn't understand anything from that sentence. I don't speak poe terms very well yet.

Do you mean in the sense that prices might go up soon, or something else that i'm missing?

I like this one a lot. It's quite cheap (might substitute tabula rasa with another armor) and from what i saw quite fast clear speed and good survival

The first one seems to have similar play style as the one i am playing now so i don't prefer it that much. The second one however seems like something that's very interesting and easy to pull off

Max block, Duelist - Gladiator could probably do all this.
Super cheap to build, requires no uniques or special items, easy to play, plenty of room to grow stronger.

Just grab a shield with high block chance, focus block%, life, damage in the passive tree.
Many variations of builds to pick from. Bringer of Rain, Aegis, Facebreakers, Mind over Matter, dual wield, and so on.
Bringer of Rain is probably the cheapest since you dont need a 6 link.
As for your attack, pick anyone 1h attack you like. I recommend Sunder, but its 100% up to you.

For clear speed, just make sure you got some essence crafted gloves with +16% MORE (not increased) attack/cast speed, then socket Shield Charge links in them.


Thats my recommended ultra noob friendly build that can do all content in the game.
-Weakness is Bleeding and Poison. Flasks are a easy fix for that.

I meaned an early version of build, like the dmg he will have by the time he reaches first tier of maps. This build is cool with any items and any lvl of skill gems, any jewels.

Cus most builds require specific flask and jewels. For example, i have yet to see a single perfect jewel for RF which has:
+7% max life;
+10-13 Chaos resistance / elemental resistance;
+ 10-16 STR / dex / all attributes;
+ 10-12% DMG (fire, area, over time, elemental).

Ancestral Warchief or any totem build for that matter has ridiculously slow clear speeds.
I think OP is looking for something a bit faster.

People usually change gems and an item or two for lab and atziri

Essence drain is another boss killer
