is there any reason to pick up all scrolls?

I stopped picking up all of the wisdom and portal scrolls i find a long time ago, i didnt see the point.

In a world where we pick up items we need. One might find it wise to pick up items they need

It is generally better to pick up all currency.
Scrolls, orbs...

If you are loaded with currency, sure skip picking them up.

Edit: By loaded I mean you got like hundreds of them. But even then pick up any orbs even if you disregard the scrolls.

You would probably make more currency by not wasting time picking up anything less then a alchemy.
I thought of stopping to pick up every lesser currency just bothers me.

The reason to pick up all scrolls is eventually running out of portal scrolls which then burns through your wisdom scrolls, and then your transmutes which are usefull for crafting and buying gems early league.

i still pick up all currency you never know when you will get bad rng with rolling links or colours.

I still think there should be auto pick up loot option for low level currency like there is for gold in D3

I also stopped picking up alternation> orbs because its just too annoying, espicially at end game maps where there are like 500 low currency drops per map

Scrolls are the lowest currency, but you can exchange them for orbs, which can be exhchanged further for greater orbs etc...

you should always pick up the lower orbs, lets you master craft on lower tier gear that you wont be keeping without wasting things like alchs and chaos.

Picking up all scrolls isn't profitable at all aslo time wasting... Just sell scraps or wetstones to vendor to get scrolls of wisdom. Well you can pick up some of portal scrolls (1 per map) LUL
Exchanging them won't get you much higher currency considering how much scrolls you actually need. Instead of picking up all the scrolls on your way just run another map :p

1. Get a portal gem (use it in the secondary weapon slot if necessary)
2. Your problem has been reduced to Wisdom Scrolls, which easily convertible from other currencies, farmable from divination cards or even tradeable with some players

According to poe.ninja, you can get 150 wisdom scrolls for a chaos atm (legacy league, but ... does it really matter if it's 100 or 120 or 200?), so would you go out of your way 150 times for 1 second each to get a chaos? Probably not.

By reflex, I pick up everything 'currency'. Unless your literally throwing away excess, I wouldn't personally ignore them. But I wouldn't also run around to find one extra piece if it wasn't literally already at my feet.

I don't understand why anyone would want wisdom scroll though considering there's like 50 per map.
