Skyforth, can someone explain it to me?
I've seen a lot of people chance all the Sorcerers Boots they found so i did the same and earlier today i actually got lucky and got Skyforth. So now i have no clue what to do since i have never had something that valuable. The highest i've traded with was 100c and getting 30+ ex would go a long way for upgrading my equipment. At the same time, Skyforth seems not too bad and trading it away when i could use it myself is probably not the best idea.

I dont think i completely understand what Skyforth does exactly and why it is worth that much. Can someone explain it to me or give me some advise on what to do?

Thanks a lot :steamhappy:

free power charge generation on crit, stun prevention for CI users who have only 1 life (almost any hit causes a stun), little bit of less mana reserved which is asways nice.
sell em and enjoy hittin the jackpot :D

There's two key things on Skyforth that make it worth so much.

1: 25% Power Charge on Crit. This buff applies to EVERYTHING your character does, not just any skill(s) linked to it like Power Charge on Crit Support. This allows a player to easily obtain power charges without any other generation sources like Assassin's Mark, only passive tree investment. One can easily drop Assassin's Mark for another curse if they'd like seeing as they now have an even more consistent way to amass charges.

2: Stun based on 500% mana. On a basic level, chance to stun is dependent on two factors: damage of a hit and life of the entity receiving the hit. If a player is running Chaos Innoculation, they have an extremely high chance to be stunned when hit. With Skyforth, the formula is modified to be based on maximum mana instead. This gives an insane boost to survivability to ES builds.

Even if Skyforth had only one of these two effects, it'd still be worth quite a lot. Throw in the 30% movement speed, high mana increase, and 6% reduced mana reserved and you have just an insane pair of stylish knee-high boots.

Thanks for your answers, it helped a lot :) So now i kind of want to keep it, that sounds pretty op to me :D Though im pretty sure the logical decision would be to sell since my main character doesn't use CI
