I want to get this game but I can't stand poop jokes.

I noticed when I scrolled down that there was a bundle with the game to get it and Castle Crashers. Immediately when I saw this, my heart sank, as I assumed they were made by the same people.

Castle Crashers was incredibly fun to play... but I have yet to touch it for the longest time or even beat it since...

I hate the damn poop jokes.

They are sick and just irritating to look at and it's forced upon you in multiple situations. Most people would say "Suck it up and ignore them" but it's not that easy when you have to actually do parts that involve riding a creature ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ itself forward during gameplay. I don't know how many there actually are in the game but it was enough for me to never touch it again. It's not funny to me and all it does is make me sick to my stomach. I know that doesn't apply to everyone however but it doesn't help the people it does apply to since there's no way to avoid them/disable them.

The gameplay to this game looks just as enjoyable but upon reading the reviews I have confirmed this game contains them too and I honestly don't know what to do. The multiplayer for Castle Crashers didn't make up for it so I don't think it will here either despite it being incredibly fun.

Any recommendations on what to do?

you can do what i do, not laugh because there not funny. im sure theres other things that irritate you much more..

Yeah I set the narrator to talk as little as possible pretty shortly after starting. The potty humour isn't that entertaining when you're 23, but the gameplay is redeeming

It's good enough for a little chuckle the first time through no matter your age, if your horse isn't too high. And at least it's a tamer, more wholesome sort of potty humor. It's not like Archer or South Park, or anything.

But yes, the humor can and does get a little cringe-worthy. The whole "lol epic so random I'm 15 buckle your pants" kind of thing.

It would work if it had enough lines, but it doesn't. It's not the kind of thing you can hear constantly and not cringe after the 5000th time, and that's the problem.

From the way it sounds, it sounds like it's much better when it comes to it than Castle Crashers is. Castle Crashers was purely visual with sound effects and that's why I just can't bring myself to play it. It's uncomfortable and sickening going through those scenes and events.

Yes, I remember all the ♥♥♥♥-flinging... still, a fun game, but I can understand why someone like you might be a little... disturbed... by it.

I'd say Castle Crashers was cleaner, but in BBT it's mostly the announcer and the videos, so far nothing in game resorts to poop jokes. Not even a fart gun...
