Screen flickering?

This seems to happen every time I go into fullscreen mode. The screen randomly flashes and flickers. Which sucks since I hate playing windowed mode. I read somewhere that you had to set the resolution settings on the computer to 60HZ, but I checked that and it was there by default.
This is really starting to piss me off.

are yo talking about the tabs at the bottom flicker they do that with me too but your lucky it's not the game screen.

Hi there! This sounds like an issue with your graphics drivers to me.

Please try this.

1. Completely remove all Nvidia and/or AMD drivers and software.
2. Go to AMD or Nvidia (depending on what card you have) and MANUALLY download the latest drivers for your video card and install them.

Are you using any type of driver management program or auto-updater, such as DriverPack?

I have screen flickering issues when playing BBT. The screen flickers both in game and during the menu or when navigating to game.

Switching from fullscreen mode to windowed mode helped reduce the flickering (but does not eliminate it).

Disabling the 'Enhanced Backgrounds' option eliminates the flickering in game, but it still flickers in the menu and when in the hallway naviagting to a game.

Both systems are laptops with integrated Intel graphics; one Intel HD 4000 and the other Intel GM45 Express. Operating system is Slackware Linux.

Not to necropost but this is still an issue and i have a beefy pc so i genuinely have no idea why this is happening. Is it because its a port of a console game? thats my only guess
