Can online co-op story be played 4 player?

Story mode only supports 2 players. However, you can play some Adventure-style Community Theater levels with 4!

Community maps don't seem to be downloading when I sunscribe to them, they download on steam but don't show up in game... :/

Which maps are you downloading, and where are you looking in game?

I downloaded arena maps and co-op maps I think (I'm not too sure now, it was when the game first came out). And I was looking in the community maps section.

Check in arena mode, there is a community theater button in the bottom right when you are selecting a game type. Also maybe try re-download or downloading new ones, if you subscribed to them back when the game first came. I think there were some issues with the steam servers a little while back.

That's too bad. I have 2 friends I wanted to play story mode with. Is there any chance you guys could update the game to support 4 players? If not, I guess we'll have to make due with Castle Crashers.

Someone in the workshop made the campaign chapters 1-8 4 player coop in case anyone was still following this.
