"No reviews of the BattleBlock Theater Steam Beta are allowed for press and non-press alike.
Feel free to make videos!
If you want to go over the full terms and agreements, check out the PDF through this link:
http://www.thebehemoth.com/beta/docsfrombeta/BBT-Terms.pdf
and if you could answer a quick question for me am i aloud to record the beta :p (i bet its in the terms in services cant tell if its (to release and hold harmless Sponsor and the BattleBlocks Theater Steam Beta Testing Entities and their respective agents from any and all claims, demands, damages,
losses, liabilities, costs or expenses caused by, arising out of, or related to their participation in the BattleBlock
Theater Steam Beta Testing and/or their participation in any Beta-related activities)
Yeah ! lol guys you cant really sign up for a beta test without reading the Rules or requirements i really doubt that you deserve the key you got if you just signed up without reading ... its some serious stuff not for jokes !
Most of Closed beta/alpha games Requires you to NOT make videos or reviews
mostly because lets say you made a review on a ALPHA stage based game ! the review will be unfair because the game is still about 20% done so you cant get the best look on it
And the videos will sometimes lead people to see ( omg so much bugs wth this is broken i wont buy it thanks ) and will ruin the marketing of the game and publicity !
Either way, i'll just do videos of the full game when it comes out, I was just wondering
You CAN show videos as long as:
1) You mention the game is in beta
2) The videos are NOT monetized
3) The videos do NOT have any review score attached
4) The videos are NOT reviews
5) The videos physically FORCE users to poop when they watch it
As long as all of this criteria is met it's totally legit to make a video or stream.
Consult the legal document for the more knitty gritty but this list should cover most cases.
I shall Apply the 5th Step in your honor sir paladin
I'll make sure to do all of that if i decide to release a video (probably on release day because then people can play right away) Besides in my opinion, you should only do a full proper review of a game if it is actually finished. I'm assuming when the release date is when the BETA ends on the 8th day right?
Welp, time to learn the brown note again (sorry only footage i could find)

I got one more question.
Because i'm going to be buying the game on launch day and i was curious, looking at the Beta Task list it says to avoid issues when the game comes out, to uninstall it.
Will the beta stay in your account?
I just think it would be a cool memento to show you were in the beta.
I will say from personal experience that I have every beta I've participated in listed in my Steam Library even though they're uninstalled (and probably inoperable). Unlike yourself I want it gone but I haven't looked into how to remove any of them from the Library either :)
I still remember my first game on steam (Super Meat Boy), my second game on steam (Binding of isaac, and then the DLC as my third purchase), and i still frequently re visit some of my oldest games even though i have 100%'ed them, I remember my first hat in TF2 (Gibus but still).
Thanks for the answer though, I guess we will find out when the game releases c:
