Regarding the ray:the very last scene shows the ray hitting a giant bear thing in space, this seems to be the story of Behemoths next game "Pit People", where the same Bear hits Earth and shatters the planet. Maybe Pit People will wrap up Hattys destiny.

Hatty's hat zaps the creator,the Giant Bear in space,and Telporting him to the CC(Catsle Crashers) universe making him a playable caracter in the CC universe! Thats why Mr.Narrator says it makes sense now HE understands,He knows that the Giant Bear in space was the creator of the Hat,and he possibly know that the green beam teleported Hatty to the CC universe!

But thats just what I think!

Surely there's a hidden meaning to the ending somewhere, so there are a bunch of theories about how the hat actually brings Hatty back to life (which I hope is true :D).
