Can I play 2 players on 1 pc?

I've bought a controller, and could control the Big Picture with that controller but when i entered the game, i could not access player 2. Is there anyway that I can play 2 players on 1 PC for this game?

as long as u have a ps2/3/4 or an xbox controller u can do 2player co-op on 1 pc

well i dont know how to setup the controllers but u can look it up on google or yahoo but i dont think non-xbox/playstation controllers work

The way it worked for me is that, me as player 1 used the keyboard and player 2 used my xbox controller. Try launching the game via Steam and not Big Picture too
