Game has no sound

Title. Everything is working fine on my end because other things have sound. I haven't played this game in ages so something must have changed. I already had to fix a fullscreen problem, any idea how to fix this?
Edit: Yes, my sound device is set to default. I tried it with my speakers and my headset, both no sound. Both times, I had every other sound device disabled.

Make sure the sounds are on in the options, make sure the sound is on in the volume mixer (right click the volume option in the task bar, click open volume mixer)

I figured it out.. My stupid Advanced SystemCare Ultimate antivirus was blocking battleblock from accessing it's own files... I didn't notice it until I launched the game in windowed, then there was a popup botom right. Allowing access fixed the issue. I hate this antivirus.
