I found some info that DW 10 was canceled because of origins

but i doubt that tbh, i think devs want to look how much succes origins will have

can u imagine "full bodied" DW game with this new engine? with all stages from previous games and 80+ characters? damn !!

The thing about DW10 being "cancelled" for this is wrong. The thing that was actually said by the developers was about the name of this game, and how they eventually decided to call it DW Origins instead of DW10.

This was definitely more of a test of the formula before they make DWX.

Since they can just use the same engine, assets, animations etc, can probably expect DW10 or Origins 2 (I dunno...) next year or so.

I suspect Origins is an appetizer to hold us over while they finish up DW10. I'd put money on it coming sooner rather than later. Next year the earliest, but probably in 2027.
