Skill Mastery
The mastery bonuses are worded rather vaguely and it's one of the few topic the in-game tutorial archive doesn't cover.
Does anyone know how the mastery bonuses work? Are they applied only when the skill is equipped, only when the weapon type is equipped or are they generally in effect?

And yet here you are, unable to answer a seemingly easy question.
Congratulations.

I've only seen one person who answered this question when I googled it. Apparently it only applies to the single battle art that it's on. Haven't done it myself but the person said that there's a battle art whose mastery applies lower bravery cost and it only applied it to itself.

Thanks a bunch.
That would make leveling all a bit less interesting. But yeah, the localisation i'm playing is worded so vaguely that it could be interpreted either way.

What skill is worded vaguely? And what does it state? I could reinterpret it for you?

it is possible, tho, only this exact mastery is applied "locally", while things like "prevents staggering while using battle arts" are global o_O (notice plural: artS)

UPD: unfortunately, i'm wrong. it's just misleading text, nothing more. read in some wiki: "Getting Battle Art mastery will add new effects and qualities to the mastered Art, such as increased interruption resistance, more damage, and faster use. Each battle art has its own set of mastery bonuses, so check which ones you like"
btw, wiki itself is nice, has many tips "integrated" in articles. (game8 dot co)

Sorry to say but it's locally for all battle arts. It's very misleading.

Which, imho, is a big missed opportunity for another layer of character development.
It would have been a completionist / grind fan treat if all arts gave you small, persistent bonuses. It would have made it much more worthwhile to use them all extensively.
It only applies to that specific battle art. For example, there are some that lower the cost of the art. After I mastered it, it only lowered the cost of that specific one.
