I am not broke, mostly because I don't spend €80,- on a whim for a hack and slash game. I find €80,- to be high for any game, let alone for something I consider a mediocre genre.

What did you think this was going to add?

Everyone earns their own money and can spend it how they want. Case closed.
From what I can find online Koei has always released warriors games at full triple A price. Dynasty Warriors 4 released in 2003 for $49.99 which was the standard back then. Although, I echo what a lot of people say in that $70 is simply too much no matter the game, especially when you know there are multiple DLCs coming eventually.

Warriors have always been more of a B game to me, I never thought they deserved a triple A price, not to mention Koei is very greedy, I'm pretty sure most of the older games are still listed at full price despite being years old.

If that's what you need to tell your self in order to cope then so be it. But the reality is that this person as well as many like them have actual standards and are able to exercise restraint and not buy overpriced slop.
Complain to your government.

I just find it weird that you purposefully search for a game, in a genre you don't care for, just to complain about the price for something you won't buy.... like, why?

this game is not overprice at all because its the only game offer a good musou subgenre.
the fact that the game prioritized gameplay and gamers satisfaction is make the price worth it.
our high price game market is filled with DEI invested games which for me it's worth 0 dollar heck i wont even play those if given free. so if those DEI games pricetage is 80$ then this game worth much more

2025, people still believe that game development costs the same as it did 10 years ago
