I was tempted to buy this and play with friends but this basically means a non-purchase for me. I don't play these games solo. I play with friends for epic gamer moments to share together. Maybe they'll add it later. One can hope.

My partner and I had played some of the original versions when we first got together from our couch (local co-op) years back, and just last week we thought "Would be so great to play any new releases in the series together now!".

Super disappointed to see one of the standout features to buy this series and not another has been lost. In terms of local co-op, this series was a blast. But as a single-player (or even online co-op) series? Nah, there are a LOT of better options for that.

Pass, until they bring back local (shared or split screen) co-op play.
