No sound in the game?
So i got a wierd issue, I just have zero sound in the game, sound works otherwise fine, in fact am listening to youtube while playing (I mean I haven o sound so something is better than utter silence)

Anyone have a clue why the sound in this game would just be.. absent? i tried verifying, tried changing all the sound setting, am just stumped.

Tried closing Youtube maybe? Could be taking focus from the game.

Otherwise, try updating your soundcard drivers.

Also, make sure the games sound setting is set to Stereo or Mono, depending on your speaker setup.

I've set it to Mono, and Stereo tried both, and ofcourse i've tried it without youtube.
I've updated my soundcard drivers. Am just wondering if anyone else got a clue what it could be.

everything is else is smooth, so its a odd issue (I'm using a headset for audio). Disabled all other sources of playback to avoid it selecting the wrong sound source hmm.
anyone have suggestions? I want to play the game, but i really need SOUND to work -.-
Close any unneeded programs/background processes before starting the game and go from there

I had this issue.

My headphones (hyperx cloud flight S) have 2 output options: Game and Chat.

I had to force the sound to comes out from game mode in windows settings.

This is the first time I had to do that.

That proved to be the same, its the first time it used a deactivated sound device, but i managed to force it.
so technically i was right in a sense, something else was taking focus, or in this case a different output

glad it was an easy fix

Hi I run into the same problem but couldn't find where to force this. Do you have a detail step on how to do it? Thanks!

In the control panel ->sounds -> playback i disabled the audio i usually use and enabled the game output, disabled chat, since i usually had one enabled and one disabled. I also enabled both later and fiddling with default volum control it's seems to work, I never ever used the "game" varaint before, no other games actually gone into that sound outlet, especially when it was disabled!
