Otherwise, try updating your soundcard drivers.
Also, make sure the games sound setting is set to Stereo or Mono, depending on your speaker setup.
I've updated my soundcard drivers. Am just wondering if anyone else got a clue what it could be.
everything is else is smooth, so its a odd issue (I'm using a headset for audio). Disabled all other sources of playback to avoid it selecting the wrong sound source hmm.
My headphones (hyperx cloud flight S) have 2 output options: Game and Chat.
I had to force the sound to comes out from game mode in windows settings.
This is the first time I had to do that.
glad it was an easy fix
In the control panel ->sounds -> playback i disabled the audio i usually use and enabled the game output, disabled chat, since i usually had one enabled and one disabled. I also enabled both later and fiddling with default volum control it's seems to work, I never ever used the "game" varaint before, no other games actually gone into that sound outlet, especially when it was disabled!
