Dynasty Warriors 8 was the last good Dynasty Warriors

Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires was pretty good actually. Dynasty Warriors 8 was too, even though pop in issues with enemies not being rendered on the screen if allies were was a common issue with all Warriors games that made some bonus challenges nearly impossible at the time.

I really feel like if they just re-made Dynasty Warrior 3-8 in this engine it would be fantastic.

That is assuming it still had all the playable Characters and Weapons.

Make Dynasty Warriors Great Again!

Or better idea just do one Dynasty Warriors game in this engine, but with all the Characters Weapons and Missions from all the other Dynasty Warriors games.

I never said it was the best, just that it was the last good one. I'm still partial to Dynasty Warriors 6 personally, the way the narrator spoke of Lu Bu when you got his hidden ending was amazing, ghosts coming back from the dead for revenge, zombies, it was fun.

DW Empires games had a great concept that turned out to be truly boring. I would love for the studio to put in some actual effort to an Empires game.

Dynasty Warriors 5 for me as the "last good" DW until Origins

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is still the best in the genre to me. It's what I wanted in the franchise.

I'm fine with the combat in this one but don't think it's actually better. Just different and not something I particularly prefer. It does feel lik DW loses a bit of its uniqueness though.

Oh yeah that one was fun, not as fun as Sengoku Basara but still really fun.
