Pre-Rendered cutscenes not loading

I'm on a 4070 with a Ryzen 5 5600 and whenever the game attempts to load a cutscene its just a blacked out screen. The subtitles and text will appear but nothing else. Ive tried the VP9 trick and that didnt seem to work. I checked the Codecs through Ki-lite and was able to find the video files in my steamapps folder. They ran completely fine through a normal media player but when it comes to the game just nothing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix or experiencing the same issues?

Note: I did reinstall the game, check the integrity of the files, uninstalled VP9 and Reinstalled it.

Ryzen 5 . ouch.

Intel Processor with Nvidia graphics cards. AMD processor with AMD graphics cards. Never mix AMD with either Intel or Nvidia. It causes weird little issues that most of the time you won't even notice, but other times can be huge issues and most people have no idea what the cause is.

Having said that, try rebooting your computer again. Some games need a full system shut down and restart for their files and dependencies to settle in properly.
