Will this have DLC?

I keep seeing others typing about DLC stuff, got me curious.

Considering where in the story the game ends, I expect a second game rather than any DLC to extend the story. At best, we might get additional companions, weapons, and possibly character customization being added as DLC. Character customization was specifically mentioned as something that might be added after release "If there is enough demand for it."

DW franchise isnt really known for its "DLC" per say since it was a game before ONLINE play was really a thing. Honestly this is their opportunity to create it into an evolving Game but since there is no Co-op play, i doubt a DLC will come. Only a DW origins 2 in like 3 years.

most likely it will. Probably just extra outfits though for characters. Will probably have suits for men, sports kit, outfits from previous DW titles and for women, bunny-girls, swimwear, dancing outfits etc.

Thats usually the case but then you might also get extra stages

DW8 and 9 both have what amount to DLC-style expansions. SW4, WO3 and WO3 do as well. This doesn't even count the sheer amount of costume, side story/mission, and weapon DLCs that cost $Texas to grab all of. DLC is and has been the norm for TecmoKoei for 3 console generations now.

DWO will as well.

Depends on whether they do DLC or just release a follow-up standalone version with more content to sell the same game again. It's KT, they do that.

Most of these posts are people trolling in the exact same way most of the 'I hope this isn't woke DEI trash' posts are also trolling. It's just trolls trolling trolls. Reddit and Twitter slop seeping out from the cracks. Most people still pick the games they play based on whether it looks fun to them or not rather than to make a political statement.

Realistically it may be weapons or skins at best, story DLC or more routes would mean more voice acting which I doubt they would do. Unless they have already done it all and just want to sell it at a later date lmao.

Edit: I say weapons because Xu Huangs big axe is in the game, throwing knives are in the game, 2H mace, Zhou Tai's sword is there etc. However I know this will impact other things like levels and the balance of all that etc... So I dunno, probably costumes or maybe story DLC if they feel extra generous.

no its not gonna get dlc it may get some story but they arent planning on adding cosmetic bloat or anything like they did in the past. this was more of a last ditch effort to save the franchise and really their company after a decade of failed releases

... DW8 I believe it was, had over £200 in DLC cosmetics and an extra 50-60 in side missions...
