Overall the only main change I would make is that while I find it fine to become better at using a weapon, I dislike that character progression is tied up to weapons, I prefer the title system of previous dynasty warriors to upgrade character stats or perhaps a simple EXP system to level up.
For the rest... we have everything, except the custom MC thought.
I would be sad if they called the sequels Origins 2 and Origins 3. We've gone past the Origins already. I dunno. Next one could be DW Foundations and the 3rd one can be DW Ouroboros.
but for real, if this was successful then i bet DW10 would be the next big thing.
I mean they could always put out dlc for this game to get some extra cash though.
We know a good amount per an interview with the director. But its all up to sales which don't look particularly promising on steam to be honest. (which sucks because I love the game)
If Origins sells well enough there will be a sequel featuring a new MC.
Also the game will potentially have DLC that may add to what is in the game, but will not continue the story.
