Controllers just dont work.

Ive tried all the fixes. Restarting, Validating, changing inputs. Nothings seems to work. Working flawlessly yesterday. Came back today, nothing. Zero sense.

when you said changed inputs did you mean change the steam inputs on the game or changed pad and what pad are you using and is this the only game that does it and if its a xbox one pad try updating it

Yeah inputs on the steam props, ive tried multiple controllers same issue. Its just dynasty warriors so its something on the games side.

My controller was working great yesterday. Turn the game on today and nothing works. Doesnt make much sense.

Even tried a full reinstall. No dice. 15 games work fine, this one just stopped out of nowhere. Its very strange.

Sometimes when I boot the game it "de-selects" the game window itself, and when it does my controller doesn't work. Clicking my mouse once on the start screen fixes the issue for me.

Ive tried that. Nothing so far. I thought maybe it was clicking out of the game but nothing. Like i said it works on every game i have but this one. It was working flawlessly on the 4th. Stopped working on the 5th.

Update Shows xbox button layout on the world map but cant do anything. Cant move or hit any of the buttons.

im guessing you have it plugged in when you boot the game? i know a fair few jrpg games and some from the west and older games dont like the pad not plugged in before you launch no idea whats going on as even the 360 pad should still work and the fact you said it was just this game did you check if there a JSON or ini maybe there is the setting there?

Ive tried wired and wireless. 4 different controllers and its just this game. Tried what you suggested, turned on during start up and after. Same issue. 50 hrs of no issues till yesterday. Just stopped. I cant even find the Json file.

Just got the game today and having the same issue, I wonder why this game does not detect my controller while it works on other games just fine.

Yeah i still haven't gotten it to work, so i put the game on hold for now. Ive tried 6 different controllers now and still nothing. Hope you find a solution!
