"Increases damage taken by 100%, but boosts the amount of rewards obtained by 50%."

What exactly does the game mean by "rewards"? My guess is as good as anybody's that it probably increases the gold and/or weapon drop rates. What I'm curious about is does it also boost other post-fight gains such as weapon proficiency, skill points, etc.? Has anyone tested this ?

Most likely it's just the money. There's another accessories for weapon drop rate, meanwhile weapon proficiency and skill points are earned from killing soldiers and officers, not finishing a battle.

I'm pretty sure it means weapon proficiency since each KO gives you proficiency, and after putting it on my weapon levels are going up much faster than before, or enemies reward more proficiency as you progress the game. Maybe both. Took it off immediately when I started doing challenges, though, yikes.
