So, im trying to save the man here but after getting the altered fate and clearing out everything, Cao Cao go lets retreat but wont leave the map...and the Stranger dude doesnt spawn in to kill. Am i missing something or am i sadly bugged out....This is sooo frustrating after spending 2 hours attempting to save this ahole, as the timing in the battle makes ZERO sense.

After the battle start go as fast as you can to capture EVERY base on the western part of the map (that includes the base you start near it), then Bailuan should appear, kill him ASAP and you should get the fate altered message.

At this point you might want to get back to Cao Cao ASAP since his base is being attacked, I got frustrated because I got the fate altered, and Cao Cao died literally when I reached his camp, lol

I already done everything correctly, I'm just at the end where cacao is suppose to retreat in the fog, but doesn't he just sits there.

Either way i figured it out, if the certain someone dies during the assault the quest glitches out. So, I just forced myself through all the enemies and killing the boss under the assault of all the officers and chariots....and I tell you not that ♥♥♥♥ is rough
