Old Coins... I have collected a ton of them...

So I am only so far in the game, granted, so it may be ahead, but collecting all these old coins... 40 or something like that... what are they for? Is it upcoming, as to their use?

if u reach chapter 2 your will be able to exchange them and 40 is not "a ton" as you need about 500 and the gather rate will drastically reduce as you progress.

It's not really an exchange as much as a collectible. Every time you reach a certain threshold you get something in return, but you never actually lose any of the ones you have.

After you unlock a certain location your old coins are exchanged for rewards (it's like a collectible where you get a reward every time you reach a certain threshold)

You get old coins by improving bonds, collecting a set number around the map and completing ultimate warrior difficulty challenges (NG+ stuff)

Tldr : play the game a bit more, you'll use them later.
